Mens flared jeans

I have to admit I am no more a fan of mens flared jeans than I am of mens skinny jeans as neither of them looks particularly attractive on the majority or regular guys.  What looks good in a magazine or on a celebrity is not necessarily going to look as great on everyone else but whether I like them or not, mens flared jeans are definitely making a comeback.   In the 1970’s mens flared jeans were all the rage and to be honest they had far wider flares than they are likely to every have again.  Men wore their jeans with very high platform shoes and I doubt that is a look that most men would care to sport in this day and age.  Although I was very young I can remember they hysteria caused by pop stars such as The Osmond’s and The Partridge Family and even The Bay City Rollers all of which were men sporting these mens flared jeans and tight fitting tops.  Do I think this is a look which will catch on almost 40 years later?  Probably not, however I do think that some guys with a lot of confidence might dare to give them a go while the rest of us will only wear them as fancy dress to 1970’s parties.  Like most fashion garments, everything has it’s time and I’m confident this trend will run a fast course.  It will be a quick flash in the pan and then normal service will resume which can only be a good thing for the women amongst us who like to see men in a good pair of straight leg well-fitting jeans. My husband is very strange when it comes to his pants. My husband is the only person I know that does not like to wear jeans. He does not like to wear jeans because they are too rough. I love wearing jeans and do not see how he thinks they are rough. Since he does not wear jeans he wears dress slacks. When we go shopping for dress slacks he has to feel them to make sure they are real soft. I find that quite funny. Maybe if we could find a really soft pair of jeans he would wear them. I have been with my husband for a eleven years and even the thought of him wearing jeans is now weird to me. I am so not used to even the idea of him wearing jeans. Maybe clothing by duck and cover would have some soft jeans he would wear.
